He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Lee Beets and Patsy Laxton Beets; his grandparents, Delmas and Estelle Laxton; his siblings, Michael Steven of Oneida, TN, Thomas Jr. of Oklahoma and Sherry Ann Beets; his aunt Phyllis Flatt; his parents-in-law, Rev. Earl and Elsie Marcum Bridges; and his sister-in-law Debra Bridges Honeycutt.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Lee Bridges Beets; his sons, Charles Kenyon Beets, Matthew James Beets and Jonathon Delmas Beets; his siblings, David Allen Beets and Darlene King (Charles); and his brother-in-law James Earl Bridges. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
