He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Boyatt and Julie Sweet Boyatt; his wife Minnie Christine Slaven Boyatt; and his mother-in-law Bessie Slaven. He is survived by: his children, Curtis Levi Boyatt (Linda), Michael Boyatt and Mary Boyatt; his grandchildren, Courtney McCann, Matthew McCann (Montana), Jessica Worley, Ruthie Worley and R. J. Ross; and his siblings-in-law, Freeman Slaven (Betty), Thelma Faye Slaven, Dorothy Slaven (Mike) and Elizabeth Burke Boyatt. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
