She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. William Lee and Mable Stephens Smith; her husband Elbert'Torch'Chitwood; and her siblings, James Harold Smith, Robert Smith, Shirley Fancher, Judy Smithers and Linda Jackson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janie Tedder (Jack) and Judy Griffith (Scott); her grandchildren, Jason Tedder and Jamie Tedder; and her sister Mary Lou Foster. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Jones & Son Funeral Home Chapel (20059 Alberta St, Oneida, TN 37841).
