He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Crabtree Honeycutt and John C. Honeycutt; his former wife Patsy M. Smith; his siblings, Edward Honeycutt, Arzo Honeycutt and Ida Bell Honeycutt; his brother-in-law Lee Coffey; and his parents-in-law, Dewey and Junie Stephens.
He is survived by: his wife Nella Mae Honeycutt (Stephens); his children, Avery Lee Honeycutt (Teressa), Averice Russell (Donald) and Tammy Lawson (Mark); his grandchildren, Justin Honeycutt, Averice Chantell, Whitney Russell, Destiny Lawson and Markus Lawson; his great grandchildren, Amarion Gipson and Brynley Taylor; his siblings, Porter Honeycutt (Dianna), Dessie Coffey and Essie Lowe (James); and his sisters-in-law, Lola Dean Honeycutt and Clairian Honeycutt. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home (18641 Alberta St, Oneida, TN 37841). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
