Alma Laxton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alma Laxton of Oneida, Tennessee, who passed away on August 19, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Roy Thomas and Rachel Clementine Phillips Thomas; her husband Jack Laxton; her siblings, Richard Harris Thomas, Ray Thomas (Joyce), Virginia Alberta Thomas Collier (Lloyd) and Audrey Thomas Coombes (Earl); her sister-in-law Celia Jo Thomas; her children, Karen Laxton and Wesley Laxton; and her sons-in-law, Craig Robinson and Joey Conatser.
She is survived by: her brother Roy Thomas; her children, Marilyn King (Rick), Jackie Thompson (Ben), Mike Laxton (Erma), Trish Robinson, Jeff Laxton (Holly), Darryl Laxton (Norma), Stacy Marcley (Henry) and Scott Laxton (Toni); her daughter-in-law DeNeil Laxton; and her siblings-in-law, Virlie Joe Byrd, Molly Cooper and William Esau Laxton. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren.
