He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Chapman and Mollie M Chapman; his siblings, Lloyd E and Debra Chapman; his former wife JoAnn Chapman; and his brother-in-law Kelly Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Chapman; his son Sammy Joe Chapman Jr. (Wendy); his siblings, Barbara Chapman and Dean Chapman (Tammy); his stepdaughter LeAnn Ellison; and his nieces and nephews, Pamela Byrd, Amy Vogel, Mark Wilson and Michael.
