She was predeceased by: her husband Hubert Hill; her parents, Sam Kesterson and Mary Cox Kesterson; and her siblings, Grace Sweet, Dorthea Riggs, Helen Christopher, Paul Kesterson, Jesse Kesterson and Samuel Luther Kesterson.
She is survived by: her children, Roy Hill (Gwen) and Juanita Bowman (David); her grandchildren, Amanda Estes (Danny), Adam Hill (Becky) and Drew Bowman (Amy); her great grandchildren, Julia Estes, Maggie Woods (Dalton), Joshua Hill (Allie), Isabella Hill, Ella Bowman and Reed Bowman; her sister Ruth Lackey; and her siblings-in-law, Gladys Thompson, Opal Sarten, Ruth Letner, Lucille Todd, Mary Lou Miller and Kenneth Hill (Linda). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church (115 Old Hen Valley Rd, Oliver Springs, TN 37840). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery (115 Old Hen Valley Rd, Oliver Springs, TN 37840).
