She was predeceased by: her husband Roscoe Prater; her parents, Andrew Jackson Akins and Bertha Garrett Akins; and her siblings, James, Hobert, Carl, Charles Akins, Jess, Edward Steelman, Opal Ashford and Thelma Westcott.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Johnson (Curt), Janice Green (Lloyd), Anita Prater (Lisa Stewart) and Angela Prater; her niece Sue Jones; her grandchildren, Stacey Johnson, Heather Farr, Brian Johnson and Joy Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Bobby Farr, Tommy Farr, Aiden Johnson, Bentley Webb, Knox Johnson and Alyssa Johnson. She is also survived by extended family and special friends.
