It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lela Wells Howard of Oliver Springs, Tennessee, born in Hyden, Kentucky, who passed away on August 21, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Howard; her parents, Jason Wells and Annie Wells; her daughters, Barbara Palomino and Cheryl Cromer; her granddaughter Lela Michelle Palomino; and her son-in-law James Marlow.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Howard (Steve Ahler) of Lexington, KY, Thomas H. Howard (Laurie) of Canton, OH and Sherry Marlow of Oliver Springs, TN; her grandchildren, Chelsea Angelo, Jason Howard (Karen), Josh Howard, Matthew Howard, James Gregory Marlow, Tommy Palomino and April Renea Howard; her great grandchildren, Corey, Jaimie, Caitlin, Roderick, Roger, Trinity and Aleah; her great great grandchildren, Emory and Tenley; and her sister Lillian Downey of Union, OH. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
