He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Nichols and Margaret Scandlyn Nichols; his children, Craig Nichols and Kerry Marcum; his brother Kenny Nichols; and his mother-in-law Louise Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Murphy Nichols; and his granddaughter Katie Knight.
