With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John David Franklin of Oliver Springs, Tennessee, who passed away on August 17, 2023 at the age of 37. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Johnny Franklin (Hattie); his grandparents, Hattie Ray Franklin, Hattie Wilhoit Franklin, Rev. Layton Beets and Margaret Milton; and his brother-in-law Will Ellison.

He is survived by: his mother Teresa (Sam Chapman); his sister LeAnn Ellison; his stepmother Kathy Franklin; his stepgrandmother Joyce Beets; and his nephew Trey Ellison.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to East LaFollette Baptist Church Youth Group.
