He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Neal and Reba Neal; his mother-in-law Ruth Ledbetter; and his sister-in-law Shirley Russell-McKissick. He is survived by: his wife Linda Neal; his daughter Heather Ashley; his brother-in-law James Ledbetter (Debbie); his niece Jennifer Russell; his nephews, Jimmy Ledbetter (Katie) and Billy Ledbetter (Kathryn); his close friends, David Hannah, James Martin (Buddy), Kim and Jason Ashley; his caregivers, Roberta Byrd, Bradley Ralston, Abigail Cox, Jake Richards, Melissa Hickcox, Durita Honeycutt and Kaleb Lankford; and also Helen. He is also survived by three great nephews and a great niece.
