We are sad to announce that on November 18, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Frederick Gene Tate of Oliver Springs, Tennessee, born in Madison, Tennessee. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ella Sue Tate; his parents, Novera Pearson Dyer and Willie Asbury Tate; and his siblings, Nora Sealback, Katherine Braden, Polly Varnadore, Irene Moss, Lucille Parmenter, Polly Bridges, William Tate, W. C. Dyer and Bill Dyer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Tate Atallah (Wadie) and Julie McCullough of Oliver Springs, TN; his grandchildren, Nicole Parrott Liner (Justin) of Calhoun, TN and Bela Parrott (Maggie) of Oak Ridge, TN; and his great grandchild Shelby Liner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Weatherford Mortuary (158 S Jefferson Cir, Oak Ridge, TN 37830). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
