It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen D. Neal of Oliver Springs, Tennessee, born in Sneedville, Tennessee, who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest Neal; her parents, Harvey Wilder and Nola Wilder; her siblings, Kate Thomas (David), Rhonda Ekdahl and Charles Wilder; and her siblings-in-law, Charles Francis, Kenneth Coffey, Eugene Burcham, Glen Neal, Bettye Patterson and Evelyn Hensley.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Neal (Jan), Steve Neal, Scott Neal (Scott Bennett) and Karen Neal (Charles Davis); her grandchildren, Tiffany Hutson (Zach), Stacey Floyd (Tom), Sonya Neal, McKinley Neal, Steven Cary, David Neal and Stephanie Neal; her sisters, Shirley Burcham, Ruth Francis, Dorothy Coffey, Judy Hicks (Hollis) and Fran Brummett (Alvin); and her siblings-in-law, Jeanie Chamberlain, Novela Bunch, Carl Ekdahl, Wilburn Hensley and Marvin Neal. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
