He was predeceased by: his parents, Laverne Ottum and Maxine Ottum (Wagner); his wife Joyce Ottum (Lawson); and his siblings, Fritz Ottum, Brion Ottum, Dale Ottum and Darlene Ida.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Ottum, Krystyn Reichle (William), Jessie Ottum and Christopher Ottum; his grandchildren, Jacob Allen, Syndria Hebel, Cayden, Cynthia Reichle, Gracelyn Ottum, Hannah Bunyea, Jody Belmont and Mollie Burton (Matt); and his sisters, Nancy Anibas (Randy), Dianne Bauer and Jean Simonson.
