It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bo Prater of Oliver Springs, Tennessee, who passed away on January 29, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Prater and Lema Prater; and his siblings, Charles, Marvin Prater and Mary Holder.
He is survived by: his wife Danette Prater; his children, Michael Prater of White Pine, Derek Fox (Sarah) of Oliver Springs, Shawn Fox (Alyson) of Lenoir City, Mikki Owen (Terry) of Kingston and Mia Prater of Oak Ridge; his siblings, Paul Prater (Rebecca) and Brenda Tinnell; his grandchildren, Michael, James, Austin, Kynleigh, Emerson, Haylee, Dallas-Parker, Bentley, Mackenzie, Corin, Mandi and Jena; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Baylen, Isabella and Aviana; and his mother-in-law Brenda Veach. He is also survived by extended family members and many special friends.
