He was predeceased by: his wife Karen Collins; his son Jason Collins; his parents, James Collins and Mary Collins; his siblings, James Collins Jr., Donna Collins, Charlie and Nora Brown; his brother-in-law Edward "Eddie" Green; and also, Bill and Jimmy Wayne.
He is survived by: his sons, Chad Collins of Indianapolis and Lukus Collins of Oliver Springs; his sister Joyce Jones of Tampa Bay; and his cousin Waddle Malcom of West Virginia.
