She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Owen and Ruth Owen (Carver); her husband William E. Jones; her brothers, Van Owen and Del Owen; and her grandson Caleb Jones.

She is survived by: her sisters, Diane Parsons (Ken) and Judy Gibson; her children, Jackie Scates (Steve), Suzanne Wilson (Steven) and Michael (Kim); her grandchildren, Meghan Brewington (Lee), Philip Scates (Evanne), Jacob Jones (Megan) and Eli Jones (Jennifer); and her great grandchild Ada Lyn Brewington.
