He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezra Short and Pearl Short; his brother Wendell Short; and his son-in-law Al Richardson. He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela Short Richardson of Nashville and Janet Short Sears (Paul) of Gallatin; his grandchildren, Grace Richardson Johnson (Curt) of Nashville and Matthew Parker Sears of White House, TN; his great grandchildren, Hannah Grace Johnson, Margaret Ann Johnson, Parker James Sears, Keaton Easley Sears, Colin Wilson Sears and Griffin Daniel Sears; and his sister Marie Short Moore of Madison, NC. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
