She was predeceased by: her mother Vivian Adams Anderson; her husband Richard Unland Jr.; her daughter-in-law Jennifer D. Unland; and her granddaughter Hannah G. Unland. She is survived by: her father Joseph Neill Anderson; her children, Troy D. Unland (Kimberly), Scott W. Unland, R. Brad Unland and Neill A. Unland (Amy); her grandchildren, Nikki Cochrane (Drew), Dr. David Unland (Rachel), Noah Unland, Savion Unland, Sarah Unland, Lalaina Unland and Lilly Unland; her great grandchildren, Ellie Cochrane and McKinley Cochrane; and her brother Joseph Neill Anderson Jr. (Jane). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial Contributions in Karen's honor may be made to the Meals on Wheels of Mt Juliet.
