She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry McKoin Jr. and Norma Oneida McKoin (McCaleb); and her brother Henry McKoin. She is survived by: her husband Lee Fortier; her son Tom Fortier (Caitlyn); her granddaughter Kennedy Fortier; her siblings, Virginia Cothron, Oneida McKoin, David McKoin, John McKoin, James McKoin (Paula), William McKoin and Mary Wright; her sister-in-law Jolin McKoin; and her nieces, Jodi Gammons and Julie Cook. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

“Lee & family, Georgianne was the closest to my age of my father's cousins and I enjoyed her so much. She was loving and loyal to everyone. We had fun summer times together with her siblings at their home riding horses. We talked a few months ago and i know that her granddaughter, Kennedy, was the light of her life and I am so sorry she had to pass away too early.
