He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Nail and Mildred Nail; his sisters, Martha Ann Nail, Audrey Zopfi and Vivian Fiveash; and his former wife Katie Nail.
He is survived by: his wife Lydia Nail; his children, Doris Finch (Daniel), Ruth Ison (Ricky), Stan Allen (Cat) and Shawn Allen (Jeannie); and his sister Muriel Darley. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
