It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billie Carol Bates of Ocoee, Tennessee, who passed away on June 11, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband J. C. Bates; her mother Haley Watts; and her siblings, Margaret Hall, Theresa Gregg, Patsy Meyers, Carl Watts, Phillip "Bull" Watts and Sue Gregg.

She is survived by: her husband David Puckett; her children, Margaret Wix, Marilyn Bates, Gayle Taylor (Dean Carver), Mitchell Bates (Joan) and Eric Bates (Julie); her grandchildren, Andrew "Drew" Taylor, Mickey Bates (Kalyn), Sydney Harmon (Kason), Jacob Bates and Emily Graham; her great grandchild Braxton Taylor; and her sister Sandra Brown.
