It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Talmadge Christopher Gray of Obion, Tennessee, who passed away on November 13, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Talmadge Christopher farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Talmadge Christopher is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Talmadge Gray and Patricia Kaye Hooper Gray; his daughter Tamara Powers; and his great grandchild Rebel Haynes. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Rhodes Gray of Obion; his children, Amanda (Jimmy Jones) of Dresden and Jamie Powers of Hornbeak; his siblings, Scott Gray of Thomaston, GA, Mark (Brenda) of South Fulton, TN and Marie Lewis of Union City; his grandchildren, Axl and Dakota Powers; and his great grandchild Cyrus Dean of Dresden.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Cryer Funeral Home (206 E Main Ave, Obion, TN 38240).
