With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Boyd of Obion, Tennessee, who passed away on January 1, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Sharon farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Sharon is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cletus Robison and Juanita Dugan Robison; and her husband Carlton L. Boyd. She is survived by: her children, Carla Baize (Kevin) of Obion and David Boyd (Charlotte) of Elbridge; her grandchildren, Mia Baize, Logan Baize and Ryan Boyd; and her sisters, Rhonda Sherron (Kenneth) of Obion and Cathy Burpo of Obion.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home (80 Gratio Rd, Ridgely, TN 38080). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at the Zion Cemetery (5878 Zion Church Rd, Obion, TN 38240).
