Marjorie (Margie) McGuire Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie (Margie) McGuire of Obion, Tennessee, born in Cushing, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 12, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Solon Chipman and Ida Cannon Chipman; her husband L. M. McGuire; her grandchildren, Dusty Alexander and Daryl McGuire; her granddaughter-in-law Paula McGuire; her son-in-law Scott Rainey; her great grandchild Maggie Gurien; and her siblings, Virginia Crocker and Harold Chipman (Buck).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Grant McGuire, Shane Alexander, Brycen Rainey, Garett Rainey, Zachary Woody, Colton Woody, Shanna Ferguson, JoLinda Gurien, Sandy Edmiston, Linda Higgins, Shelley Bell and Pam Contreras; and her children, Carolyn Parkinson (Parkie) of Obion, Patricia Woody of Obion, Judy Rainey of Obion, Ricky McGuire (Donna) of Obion and Benny McGuire (Ann) of Hornbeak. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 2:45 PM and at 3:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (820 Shelby Dr, Dyersburg, TN 38024).
