He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Spain Fite and Evelyn Fite; and his siblings, Albert Fite, James Fite, Margaret Ruth Mims, Clarice Laxton, Louise Fite and Elizabeth Ann Belk.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Birkholz Fite of Obion, Tennessee; his children, John Fite, Jr. of Obion, Tennessee and Vicki Mayse (David) of Obion, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Ashley Romo (Josh), Kaylin Greganti (Chris) and Nathan Mayse (Kiernan); and his great grandchildren, Jensen Romo, Uriah Romo, Avery Greganti and Addison Greganti.
Due to the current pandemic conditions and the family's concern for the health and welfare of others, a private graveside service for Mr. Fite will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, September 28, 2020 at Zion Cemetery.
