He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Spitznas and Helen Spitznas; his brothers, Bill and Bob Spitznas; his former wife Jennie Wene; and his stepchildren, James Guy Browning and Janet Seibert.
He is survived by: his daughter Helen Spitznas-Tomasulo; his grandson Michael Tomasulo (SoYoung); his son Jack B. Spitznas Jr.; and his stepdaughters, Barbara Browning Sheehan (Steve), Karen Kinnard, Teresa Kinnard and Darlene Underwood. He is also survived by children and grandchildren.
