It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Gene Hollis of Obion, Tennessee, who passed away on February 12, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hollis and Sadie Hollis (Tucker); his son Walter "Bubba" Hollis; and his siblings, Tom Hollis and Lucille Hollis Hunter.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley M. Hollis (Bullion) of Obion; his daughter Regina L. Hollis of Obion; his grandchildren, Jessica Jones of Dyersburg, Zack Jones of Dyersburg, Mitch Jones of Dyersburg and Whitney Fortenberry of Houston, TX; his nieces, Marie Hunter Halford and Barbara Hunter Cox of Navarro, FL; and his nephew Randy Hollis of Obion. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Hornbeak Baptist Church or the charity of choice.
