He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Ann Choate (Douglas); and his mother-in-law Carolyn Newsom. He is survived by: his father Tommy Choate of Obion; his wife Diana Choate (Newsom) of Obion; his children, Ashley Wetzel (Cody) of Hornbeak and Kyle Choate of Obion; his grandson Michael Choate of Obion; his brothers, Ricky Choate (Brandy) of Hornbeak and Mark Choate (Deborah) of Obion; and his father-in-law Gilbert Newsom of Obion.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Moriah Cemetery (1477 Mt Moriah Rd, Troy, TN 38260).
