He was predeceased by: his parents, William Houston Fly, Sr. and Aileene Duke Carlson; his son David Houston Fly; and his siblings, Joseph Fly and Cindy Carlson.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Fly; his children, Kevin Fly (Andrea) of Oakland and Carol Arnold (Jason) of Jackson; his brother Steve Fly of Memphis; his grandchildren, Peyton Hart (Kayla), Hayden Fly, Hannah Brooke Fly and Rylee Arnold; and his great grandchild Dixie Hart.
