He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Harvey and Maggie Harvey; his siblings, John Harvey (Geneva), Sammy Harvey (Betty), Mary German and Ruby Williams (Robert); his son-in-law Brad Busby; and his nephews, Jon Harvey (Tammy), Rick Harvey and Joe Ferguson.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Harvey (Reed); and his daughters, Vickie Busby, Ruth Landers (Mike), Carol Land (Mike) and Nancy Haas (Paul). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
