With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Christine Syriac of Oakland, Tennessee, born in Olean, New York, who passed away on August 21, 2023 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Margaret R. McCurdy (McGowan). She is survived by: her father Robert C. McCurdy; her husband Christopher M. Syriac; her children, Robert D. Syriac (Annie) and Meghan C. Yarbrough (Davis); her grandson Asher; her sister Sharon McCurdy; her nephew Sean Hannahan (Ericha); her great-niece Kali; her sister Pamela Scarbrough (Keith); her nieces, Mara Scarbrough and Natalie Scarbrough; her brother Mark McCurdy (Carol); her niece Caitlin Kelley (William); her nephews, Matthew and Jon McCurdy; and her siblings-in-law, Daniel Syriac and Noel Syriac.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
