He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Vernon Elrod and Ruth Virginia Hickman Elrod; his stepson Brent Wilson; and his brothers, Paul Henry Elrod and Vernon Elrod.
He is survived by: his children, Whitney Willingham (Jared) and Travis Elrod; his stepchildren, Brittney Conroy (Frank) and Ben Wilson (Christina); his brothers, Larry Elrod (Gwen), Jackie Elrod (Susie), Bobby Elrod (Kathy) and Ronnie Elrod (Julie); and his grandchildren, Caleb Elrod, Brayden Willingham, Branson Willingham and Bradley Willingham. He is also survived by ten step-grandchildren.
