He is survived by: his spouse Laura Cook Evans; his parents, Edward William Evans and Haze Williams Evans; his son John Claiborne Evans (Chrystal) of Chapmansboro, TN; his sister Glenda Evans Spann (Albert) of Jackson, MS; and his granddaughters, Summer Evans and Addy Evans. He is also survived by his wife whom he married.
