It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Huggins of Oakland, Tennessee, born in Ripley, Mississippi, who passed away on May 5, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodie E. Simpson and Toie K. Bishop Simpson; and her brother Jerry K. Simpson. She is survived by: her husband John Huggins; her daughters, Donna Stinnett (Tommy) of Napoleonville, LA and Carrie Cooper (Jon) of Bartlett, TN; her grandchildren, Kristina Belk, Trevor Belk and Chandler Cooper; and her siblings, Timothy W. Simpson of Atlanta, GA, Richard Tate Simpson of Atlanta, GA, John B. Simpson of New Albany, MS, Doris J. Garvin of New Albany, MS, Cheryl Pannell of New Albany, MS and Joyce Herring of Coldwater, MS. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Fayette County Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 44, Rossville, TN 38066.
