It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Corrine Durham Gegumis of Oakland, Tennessee, born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on August 24, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Stovall Durham and Lorene E Bell Durham; her husband John Van Gegumis; her children, Marie Annette Insco and John Van Robert Gegumis; and her siblings, Robert S Durham Jr. (Bobby), William Merritt Durham (Bill) and Bunnie Marie Woods.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine and William V Gegumis (Billy); and her siblings, Ruby Lambert and James Donald Durham (Don). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
