He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Ray Wood and Willie Jean Betts Wood; his children, Blake, Erika Lee and Trevor Kennedy Wood; his stepson Zach Pruitt; and his sister Alicia McCoy.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Wood; his stepchildren, Curt Pruitt (Sarah Bond) and Patricia Peeples (Joel); his brother Randy Wood (Vicky); and his nieces and nephews, Jason McCoy, Brandy McCoy and Lauren Moss. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the VFW Post 1848 (3803 US-45, Jackson, TN 38305). A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
