He was predeceased by: his fathers, Varadeen Syverson (Asp) and Garfield Syverson; and his sister Valorie Eklund (Mike). He is survived by: his wife Jacque Hoveskeland of New Rockford; his children, Eugene Tarasenko (Deborah) of Underwood, Monica Olson of Minot and Shawna Balsdon (Dan) of Grand Forks; his grandsons, Samuel, Andrew, Nicolas (Samantha), Jamey of Underwood and Jacob O'Toole of Fargo; his great grandchildren, Colter and Hattie Jo; his brothers, Karmith Christensen (Ashley) of West Fargo and Delane Christensen of Dilworth, Minnesota.; and his brothers-in-law, Ardell Hoveskeland (Linda) of Annadale, Barry Hoveskeland of Arlington Washington and Mike Eklund. He is also survived by Twin Valley, Minnesota; and many extended family members including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
