Caron Sue Britt Obituary
Caron Sue Darby Britt, age 69 of Oakfield, passed away on April 7, 2022 in Jackson.
Caron was born on March 3, 1953 in Hernando, MS to the late Marlin and Betty Jo Darby. She was a house parent at the Tennessee Baptist Children's Home in Brentwood, TN from 1992-1996. She also worked for the Easter Seals in Lexington, TN and worked at day cares caring for babies.
A natural caregiver and provider, Caron spent her entering life caring for others.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Terry Sanders.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Britt; children, Jennifer Hubbard (Tim) and Andrew Britt (Holly); granddaughters, Patience Alter, Skyler Hubbard, Ellie Britt, Claire Britt, and Savannah Hubbard; brother, Kenneth Darby; and sisters, Vicky Sumler and Pam Garland.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday evening, April 9, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. Visitation will resume on Sunday, April 10, 2022 beginning at 1 p.m., followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Sandridge Cemetery near Lexington.
