He is survived by: his parents, James Thomas Gibbs, Sr. and Roberta Kerschieter; his siblings, James "Tommy" Gibbs, Jr. and Donna Faye Tomlinson; his wife Amy Gibbs; his children, Joshua Smith (Marli), Jared Smith and Bridget Morris; and his brother-in-law Walt Tomlinson. He is also survived by three nephews, one niece, and several great nephews, nieces, and other extended family.
