As Damon departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Damon. Though Damon may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Damon (Olga Owens) and Baby; and his siblings, Walker Clay Owens and Donna Owens. He is survived by: his wife Karen Eble Owens of Oakdale; his son D. J. Gibson of Harriman; his siblings, David Owens (Rebecca) of Coalfield and Lynnita Angel-Lee (Robert) of Rockwood; his brother-in-law Johnny Eble of Oak Ridge; and his close friends, Tommy, Mary Rose Jackson and John Patterson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jackson Funeral Home and Cremation (51 Edmonds Dr, Oliver Springs, TN 37840).
