She is survived by: her mother Julia Geffen; her children, David, Sonya, Jon and Judith; her spouse Professor Dwight Van of Vate; her children, Miriam Eichler Rivas, Daniel Oster Eichler, Karen Oster Eichler, Margrit Eichler and Sarah Dunham; her grandson Eli Rivas; her granddaughter-in-law Liv Rivas; her sister Judith Wills (Sonya); and her brother-in-law Kenneth Wills. She is also survived by step-children.
