He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Canady and Pauline Canady; and his siblings, Jake, Ray and Betty.
He is survived by: his spouse Dr. Shirley C. Raines; his children, Lynnette, Larkellen and Scott Canady; his stepson Brian; his grandchildren, Christina Mills, Michelle Harvey, Damien Roberts, Riley and Bryson Smith; his great grandchildren, Kathryn Mills, Gavin, Addam, Tristen Harvey, Nairobi and Eleanor; and also, Mitchell Mills, Kevin Harvey, AssereTh Zapata of Roberts, Marti and Overton.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (1350 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Oak Ridge, TN 37830). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
