With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Craven Jacobus of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 8, 2024 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alan Craven and Marion Craven (Winterbottom); her brother Robert Alan Craven of Santa Barbara, CA; her uncle Gaetano; and her aunt Doris D'Antonio (Winterbottom).
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Jacobus Herman (Richard) and Brett Ellis Jacobus (Lisa); her granddaughters, Sarah Herman, Lauren Jacobus, Caroline Herman and Emily Jacobus; her niece Kimberley Craven (Justin Percival); her nephew Matthew Craven; and her great-nephew Trajan Percival.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Episcopal Church (320 E Davis St, Burlington, NC 27215). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location.
Ms. Jacobus requested that in lieu of flowers those remembering her volunteer in her memory for outreach community service of their choice.
