She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam H. Jones Jr. and Vivian Lyons Jones; her husband James M Galloway (Mike); and her sister Sarah Jane Jones Hawn. She is survived by: her children, Stacey Galloway of Brooklyn, NY and Scott (Gina Galloway) of Smithfield, VA; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Galloway of Smithfield, VA and Grayson Galloway of Kansas City, KS; her siblings, Sam H. Jones III of Knoxville, TN and Patricia Jones; her siblings-in-law, Rev. James Calhoun of Union City, TN and Betty Eason of Oak Ridge, TN; and her cousins, Sharon and Charlie Anderson of Oak Ridge, TN. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mott-McKamey Funeral Home (1017 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Oak Ridge, TN 37830). A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Oak Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery (1501 Bethel Valley Rd, Oak Ridge, TN 37830).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Epilepsy Foundation of East Tennessee in her memory.
