He was predeceased by: his wife Leiron Parrott McNabb; his parents, Carl McNabb and Myrtle Layne McNabb; his stepmother Johnnie Henry McNabb; his siblings, Martin McNabb, Robert McNabb and Joy McNabb Everett; and his brothers-in-law, Harold Parrott, Clay Parrott and Gene Parrott.
He is survived by: his children, Vicki McNabb Black (Joe Black) of Saraland, AL and Alan McNabb (Jane McNabb) of Decatur, GA; his grandsons, Joseph Black (Kristin Black) of Mobile, AL, John McNabb of Decatur, GA, Daniel McNabb (Meghana Nathan) of Avondale Estates, GA and David McNabb of Decatur, GA; his great grandchild Elakshi McNabb; his sister Betty McNabb Davis of Sandy Springs, GA; his sisters-in-law, Cheryl McNabb of Harrison, TN, Peggy Lyons McNabb of Oak Ridge, TN, Evelyn Parrott Lee of Austin, TX and Ann Parrott Smith of Antioch, TN.; his nieces, Mindy McNabb and Mitzi McNabb Thomas (Hughie Thomas); and also, Oak Ridge and Shantel Brown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kern Memorial United Methodist Church (451 E Tennessee Ave, Oak Ridge, TN 37830). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
