He was predeceased by: his grandson Jory Davis. He is survived by: his wife Janet Thornton; his children, Patrick Thornton (Wanda), Marcia Thornton Davis and Annette (Dick Perrin); his grandchild Casey Thornton (Marena); and his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Flora and Eric Thornton.
