He was predeceased by: his wife Susan Larabee Powers; and his parents, Jack Powers and Mildred Powers. He is survived by: his sister Sharon Clemons; his daughter Crystal Powers; his granddaughter Brianna Jordan (Mykal); his great grandchildren, Jessie and Elaine Jordan; his son Jack Powers; his grandchildren, Haley and Caitlyn Powers; his son James Powers (Celia Powers); his grandchildren, Isaiah, Landon and Alexandria Powers; his daughter Dr. Kayla Powers Jones; his grandchildren, Ayden, Austen and Autumn Jones; his son Joshua Powers; his brother Darin McBride; and his daughter Brianna Jordan. He is also survived by his five children, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mott-McKamey Funeral Home (1017 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Oak Ridge, TN 37830). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at the Oak Ridge Memorial Park (1501 Bethel Valley Rd, Oak Ridge, TN 37830).
