She was predeceased by: her husband Oscar "Ray" Land; her parents, Frank Compas and Maxine Compas; and her daughter Mercedes Shackelford of Oak Ridge. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jeremy Compas (Crystal Mallicoat), Amanda Compas, Ashley Compas, Fourteen and Very; and her friend Lori "Dovey" Sanders.
